Visiting my uncles in Vermont we were riding 4 wheelers around his property. Closest neighbor was a mile away. I noticed tall grass behind the garage and went to investigate. A 1968 oldsmobile toronado. It was the owners mom’s. She only used it once a year to drive to FL. Only 13k miles. We got it started after sitting for over 2 years and I bought it for 2k. Drove it back to Illinois amd fixed all electrical and repainted. It was a beautiful car.
Now the part I regret. Sold it a year latter. Made enough to by an eagle talon for college.
I really wish I still had that car.
Not pic of actual car. This was about 15 years ago.

Toronados are interesting for sure. That’s crazy low mileage, too. I only recently ever saw the interior of one; it’s incredible how spacious it is without the trans hump!

Maybe if you sell the eagle talon in 25 years it will bring you enough money to buy a Toronado 15 years ago.

A friend of mine was selling his nice 1985 535is, 5speed. I loved that car. A different friend bought it instead of me. He down shifted into a corner in the rain and crashed it. He was ok but I still feel bad about it. Maximum vehicular regret.
